Dog permit for dog to Bahamas

Has anyone applied for a permit from the Dept of Ag in Nassau to bring your dog with you to the Bahamas?

How long did it take in your case?

Yes, contact the Bahamas Ministry of Agriculture for the forms. It usually takes a couple of weeks to get them.

You should receive the permit within a week to 2 after they receive the application if you paid the extra $5.00 to receive a fax copy vs regular mail. A money order is a good thing.

Got our permit for Patrick! It took so long we sent another payment and sent if fedex. Turns out the original was sitting under a stack of papers on the desk of our harbor master. What a jerk!
