We cruised down the Chicago River at Sunrise on Labor Day.

What a great video, so pretty. You'd never think about 50 people get shot there every weekend (sorry, couldn't help it). I remember we motored through Hell Gate and the East River along Manhattan on a beautiful day like that and the same thing crossed my mind - so pretty from the water on a beautiful spring day, even with the FDR drive in the way. With that view you'd never imagine the universe of human drama for millions of people inside that city every day.
