I'm in Cheticamp en route to Baddeck, following a pretty spectacular shoreline.

Lots of pics on my blog, for anyone interested in following along.

Interesting. I ran that area in a campervan, just stunning. Will look at your blog. I am interested to know how the cruising is in NS. Thanks and enjoy.

This is great, on my bucket list for too long, preferably by boat, by camper if not.

Just posted a gazillion photos. Neat trip.

Seals! Puffins!

Hubby and I just love your blog, Jeff. We also love that area, having vacationed on PEI (before Canada built the bridge to PEI) many years ago. It is very cool to see more of the area through your pictures and observations.

And it looks like you are very pleased with your upgrade to this boat. Could not agree more that thrusters are one of the most enjoyable boat amenities.

Cheers,
Mrs. Trombley

Thanks! Yes, I'm very happy with Escapade, and having bow and stern thrusters is a luxury I've come to embrace.

I'm especially excited to have lots of time to explore the Atlantic coast of NS for the rest of the summer. I grew up in Halifax, and raced sailboats all over the Maritimes, but there are whole sections of the province I've never seen. Happy to have you and Dan along.
