High Water Alarm

My Prairie 36 came with what I'm pretty sure is a high water alarm. It is a Starnalarm Model 200 which seems to be functioning, or at least it is receiving power. Is there anyway to test this system without actually flooding the boat?

Remove it from its mount and place in a bucket.
