I document extensive MX records. Unfortunately its not on my vessel but on aircraft at my day job. My own records have been mixed. I save every manual and receipt. I do have a binder that I arrange and update but I am lagging at the moment. I will get it caught up and arranged/divided by major components/systems. I also video document much of what I am doing for future reference. That has been very useful to refer to.
BTW...check that number in the lower RH corner. That's projected man hours for a particular Mx visit on a medium sized aircraft. 2932 man hours X 145/hr = $425,140. It will probably be closer to 3500 hrs though.
