Styrene Monomer Question

I have a gallon of styrene monomer I planned to use in thinning gel coat but it has hardened to a thick gel while stored. Does anyone know a way to liquify it with, say acetone, to restore it?

Throw it away. Once styrene monomer has thickened to a gel it is partially polymerized and shouldn't be thinned with a solvent.
