Yeah might do that. Removes the issue of trying to get the timber curved etc. I would only be able to hinge whatever window falls above the stairs going into the bedroom and down to the shower and toilet a the top of the shower and the top o the toilet will form a dashboard type area that will not be reachable without considerable effort.

Figuring it out is All part of the fun ;-)
