Sliding Window replacement Splines

Hey team I’m stumped . . . All the splines on my sliding windows have turned to dust . . . Can anyone point me at replacement parts? Splines/felt . . . Also should the windows be riding on something or are they supposed to be in direct contact with the aluminum frame as they slide back and forth? Should there be rubber stops or a gasket at each end? I am new to power from sail!

Glass never touches metal. Sliders usually run on rubber pads.

For Hatteras I think they call it mouse fur. Available from Sams Marine and sold by the foot.
