Securing new holding tank

I just finished removing every piece of my sanitation system. I'm ordering a new 40 gal. tank from Ronco plastics.
58" long 14" wide and 12" tall
The new tank is going be placed under the forward companion way on a flat fiberglass floor. What is the best material to set the tank on to avoid any chaffing? I'm thinking some form of rubber or neoprene, but not sure.
Looked on line and there's a thousand different choices. Any expertise as to the best material for this would be appreciated. I know Ronco recommends building a box that supports the tank on all four sides, but I think that is to cover there *** in case of an failure.I can't see doing that for a tank this size with 3/8" walls. Suggestions appreciated.

My tank Is epoxy and glass. I used roofing felt as padding, NOT shingles.
Built curbs of 1x2 although now would use 2x2 bolted to platform and butted tight to tank.
Used 1/8 ss wire with thimbles and Nicropress crimps, u bolts, and small turnbuckles holding the tank into place. Adjusted turnbuckles once and check periodically but nary any indication of trouble.
The SS wires run over top of two angles so no tank contact. Ground radius into angle outside corner so wire has small radius, not a sharp bend.
Don't think tank is picky as long at has something and cannot move.
18 or thereabouts years since done.
Otherwise ask tank mfgr. s best source of info.

This is always the recommendation for fuel , water and waste tanks , regardless of wall thickness.

I used plastic plumbers tape tightened by a small bolt and nut through 2 holes.

Previous boat had similar tank size shape on plywood w 2x2 curb around. Hold down was plastic strapping.
If installing new I would slant the platform towards the drain end / corner w tapered wood strips under the plywood.
On that one the outlet was right at the edge of the platform and I added a PVC trap at the tank then pump out hose vertical​ from the trap discharge...made a big improvement in how empty I get the tank...didn't suck air when tank got down to 1-1\2" "liquid" still in the bottom.
