Has anyone removed the protective coating on the cockpit rear door trim ( 2005 400 Mainship) and recoated it successfully without damaging the SS trim. Mine has pitted and "splotched" from the salt environment and looks terrible. I'm not sure if it is coated with clear coat, varnish, etc.
before I chemically strip it and reapply with an automotive coating I thought I'd check with the forum boys first.
