Replacement porthole gaskets

I have a leaking (opening) porthole on my 1978 Albin 33. The porthole is bronze and the gasket is dried up and in need of replacement. I can not find anything on the porthole that would help to identify the company that made it. Does anyone know who the manufacturer might be, and if so, are they still in business? Otherwise I welcome any suggestions on where I might find suitable gasket material. The gasket space in the porthole is 5/16-3/8" wide and 5/16" deep. Thanks for any advice!

I bought square neoprene gasket material for my portholes from McMaster-Carr Supply.
www.mcmaster.com A bead of almost any sealant will hold it in place.

Most opening ports use softer hollow rubber as it stresses the frame less to seal.

What is the diameter of the port hole?
Eight inch?

Defender has material by the foot, in several different sizes. I just bought material to replace the seals in our bronze ports from them.
