Hey fellow trawler lovers!
I thought I’d update on the renovation that i’ve just started!
The foredeck was the perfect spot for a large sun bed. We wanted it large enough for friends to sit on comfortably whilst underway or at anchor; long enough to lay flat and sun bake.
The overall size allowed for a 2000mm long top, 2300w at the rear, 1800w at the front. It’s enormous and extremely comfortable! Where the backrest meets the wheelhouse is a large cavity that will be closed in to create storage for ropes and fenders, accessible from both sides. The back and sides will be clad in VG panelling to finish her off. Looking forward to finishing this off and moving to the next area!
I also cut nearly 2000mm off it to reduce the height and remove the need for guide wires. Slowly but surely getting there
