Rattling doors?

My sliding doors rattle when under way. What does everyone do to quiet that? I have been using a teak wood shim which works.

Mine don't rattle (that I have noticed), but I do think you have come with one good method.

I hear using a teak wood shim works.




Between ours I got some self adhesive long nap weather strip
As long as door frame is on strip it stops rattle and keeps draught out in winter, not that our winters are cold.

As in wheelhouse wall and door ? No
But I do have a full strip at aft end of door opening on wheelhouse side - that stops the draft and rattle for the back of the door
And a few smaller strips on fwd wheelhouse side and that stops rattle on front half - shape of framework stops draft.

Funny thing. I found one with boat spares and thought it was cool gadget, but had no idea what it did. I will take it out and try one. Thanks
