Marine Carpenter Wanted - Oxnard, CA

Hi folks,

My boat came with an electric fire place. I know, so what, but I would like to remove it and use the space for storage. Do any of you know a marine carpenter in the Oxnard/Ventura area?

Bill, I'd suggest checking with some of the boat yards around your area to see who they use. Probably some of the bigger yards have their own carpenters, but you might get lucky and find a good wood guy.

Any good cabinet maker should be able to handle your project.

The only differences are, you don't want a lot of extra weight and you have to measure, you can't use a level.

Most likely, they will make an insert and just install it on the boat.
