Great resource for hose clamp research

Like many others here, I'm in search of better hose clamps.

Just the other day I was changing out a water pump, and had a "marine" hose clamp fall apart in my hands as I gently removed it. Wow! It would have sunk my boat!

Anyway, ran across this site - http://hoseclampsdirect.com/

Note the very helpful "Clamp Selector" search dialog, and I also found the FAQ link http://hoseclampsdirect.com/faqs-2/ super helpful in determining applications for the clamps. On this same FAQ page, click the "Material Standards" tab on the left for a great overview of metal types.

Literally *EVERY* type of hose clamp we have been discussing recently is listed here in some way, and you'll see many of the brands recommended here on TF listed.

Now I've just got to find a place to buy them!

I'm not affiliated in any way with the site, I ran across it and it looks to be a great resource.

Enjoy!
