I pulled up this carpet that was laid over the floor and undeneath in the stateroom area one side of the subfloor is kind of hanging. It looks to be glassed in to the hull and screwed to a center joist. No rot at all, just not attached down the whole length. (About 2 feet where its loose and sags.) In thinking of buying a sheet of mdo plywood and cutting and screwing it into place pulling the subfloor up into the new subfloor. Plans call for adding another hole in new subfloor in galley area by steps where inspection hole is for dual bilge pumps. After all that the i can either floor with t&g flooring or outdoor marine carpet . (Boat will be used alot for fishing salmon, halibut, etc). Any thoughts my new subfloor plan? There is no rot on any of the subfloor, and there is plenty of clearance for the cupboards, doors, drawers and such.
