Deck Repair

Over the past two weeks we’ve had our decks torn up and replaced where it was soft or there was suspected rot. So far there have been 5 patches removed, glass installed both above and below the new marine plywood. They are now sanding the entire deck and cabin to prepare it for primer and paint. Figured I would show some progress photos and show the old deck damage. Been an interesting process.

What are you going to paint the deck with? We painted ours with Kiwigrip and so far love it. Very easy to apply and ours wears like iron so far. It has been 3 years since we painted it.
