I have a 1983 36 albin trawler. a potion of the deck on the port side by the aft cabin window needs to be replaced. What type of wood should I use ? the rest of the teak teak has been painted with durabak and wil be doing the same after the repair.. thank for your suggestions on the repair

Marine plywood which has no voids. Might want to seal the surface edges. Br sure to save what wood you took out as a pattern, and sizing.

what is the depth of the teak decking plants? ie should I use 3/4 in marine grade plywood?
