Air conditioning size

So if the boat I am looking at has a 17 year old Genny with 3500 hours, it may be worth taking it out as part of my refit and going to a 9 kw if it fits. Still would be interested in the load share cost.
 
Time to take measurements??? Take weight into consideration too. Remember to look at the generator with maintenance into consideration.

Geez they make em soft in the US of A. ;)

Though I will admit, a/c in the ER would be nice.
