6lya stp coolers

i have 1100 hrs on the single engine. 2006 mainship
I was inquiring on just opening up the end caps for inspection and if all appears clean i was going to just put new gaskets and re-seal after using a fresh water hose to spray thru? any sediment ?
1, Intercooler
2. heat exchanger
3. oil cooler- will antifreeze come out on these end cap removal?
4. tranny cooler - might just replace all together.

Also does anyone know what a mechanic would charge to do the same? @ $185 hr rate

i also will have mechanic do valve adjustment.

1. The intercooler also needs cleaning on the air side which can only be done by total disassembly.

2,3,4. These are all sea water cooled and end cap removal will work. Better if you circulate Barnacle Buster or similar to get any scale out.

Several thousand $$$.

On our boat I had to remove the intercooler to get at the oil cooler. Our boat has two engines. A single engine boat might have more room.
