*Please, what is the point for the water - heater outlet and inlet from the 8 KW Westerbeke Gen.

Free hot water? Since you're heating the genset cooling system anyway, why not let it flow thru the hot water heater and heat the water rather than use generated electricity to do the same?

It could also be plumbed to pre-heat the main engine if so desired. Or if you absolutely don't want to do anything with it, just ignore it. I'm sure it won't mind.......

I think that's what he's asking... where do you plumb the water to the water heater at on the WB?

I have two gens , the 15 KW Westebeke are working on day and the 8 KW Westebeke are running on the night. And a have with the big gen power for the electric Water-heater but in the night with the aircondicion and light the 8 KW gen is running on the limit. Thats the point.
Under way we need never warm water but ask my wife.....we need warm water in the badroom in the night- lol.

My bad. The inlet and outlet are well marked in the manuals for my gen set. (not a WB though) I'd start with the manual and then progress to a dealer to find the exact takeoff points.

I understand well the need. It is the same reason my aft head has it's own heater core and fan here in the chilly PNW. If the Admiral ain't happy........

Thanks Ken , my manuals are complett but without water-heater-line.

Check totally worthless in the dictionary. You'll see my picture there on this topic. Sorry.
