Uflex steering

Looks like I'll have to replace the whole system. Bought a 2 station UFLEX just in case..,.
I'm getting conflicting opinions on hose, guy I bought it from said it was on nylon tube. Internet says hi-pressure hose. This is hydraulic but not powered.
Waiting for mfr to call me back( yeah, right?).

Seastar for example sells nylon tubing for their non powered helm systems.

Uflex says nylon tube for my application is fine. If slave cylinder is operable, that is good too
