Well its finally time to replace a old cruiseair 10,000 btu split system. Looking around and tne Marin Aire caught my eye, self contained , small. Any thoughts on these units seems to be new to marketplace. Thanks for any info.

I put 5 new Marinaire units in my boat 4 years ago, Been pleased, the hiccups I've had the company has been right on the ball with service and help. The only thing i'd change is to try an avoid running one pump for multi units. The other thing is the height of the drip tray, a couple of times the drain has blocked and water spilled over. My fault lack of maintenace on my part, but a little more depth would give a little more weight to the water. I use my boat twice a year for 3 months a time, running the air con units every night at anchor etc. Overall been very pleased with Marinaire and they are priced right.

Just put a new forward 16,000 btu MarinAire in a week and a half ago. Works like a charm and couldn't be happier.
