Norcold DE461 parts

Parts have dried up for this 20 something year old fridge. Freezer door gasket part 61567830 is no longer available. Has anyone found a suitable replacement? The fridge works fine except for this worn out gasket.

We have the same model. Good luck. (Not helpful I know.) I just paid $100 to have all the wire racks sandblasted and powder coated. If you find a source for a thermistor, let me know. There's one vendor on the 'net who says they have it but didn't really. Amazon did have new door handle brackets, that was helpful. Should buy a new fridge but the new ones are really expensive, may or may not fit the cabinet and the current one works not great but okay.

Thermistors should be able to be matched up if the coefficient (POS or NEG) and impedance range are known. Try photographing the old one and posting.

Try a house refridgerator repair shop.
They may be able to help. I suspect that just because it is Norcold that the seal is NOT available only from them. It was made by a seal mfgr., not by Norcold. Norcold just bought it.
