Does anyone know of a solution for a water flow sensor on a watermaker that would output to N2k, I know you can modify the Maretron fuel flow sensor to do this but that’s total overkill. Perhaps I could use the gas fuel flow n2k sensors but not sure they are fresh water safe or that I could re program the fuild type to water.
Thoughts?

I would look for a flow sensor with a 4-20ma output. It's an industrial standard, and lots should be available. Don't know about cost, though. You can then use Maretron's CLT100 (I think that's the right model). That device adapts arbitrary 4-20ma current loop sensors. Just confirm in advance that it can indeed handle fluid flow.

BTW, I assume you want to measure flow in lpm or gpm? Not just just get a flow/no flow indication?
