If you are good at commodities trading, you should devote yourself to that for 5 - 10 years and save up enough money that your choices and decisions aren't fundamentally limited by financial considerations. Being cheap out of necessity may result in the alternate lifestyle you seek that is only a small step above homelessness.

Hmmmm, I wonder what happened to our little arrogant millennial. He hasn't posted since July 27, maybe he bought his boat and is living the good life and ignoring us for being so mean to him.

Maybe he caught a dose of reality and decided to work for a few more years.

On that description,( I do not share), I reread the thread. Apart from the less pleasant posts the OP got good practical advice and,as I read it in the circumstances was polite,neither arrogant or ageist,in responding. If he left,it was with good advice from most.
