North of Port Orange , Daytona Beach there is no problem easily finding anchorages .

South is more difficult as many towns claim to OWN the Federal waters.

City Island is far better ventilated during the summer season , but getting on and off the island , where the Slums meet the Sea on weekends can be trying. (SUCKS!) An R60 US BMW made it loads easier. The best solution was enough seniority to bid a sked to avoid the traffic.
