What's your most prominent local landmark? Mine is Mt. Diablo. Here looking west/southwest from the San Joaquin River:

From the Napa River looking south/southeast:

Gee.

Mt. Diablo is Northern California's Base and Meridian. It's all measured from there!

Barrenjoey Headland, the most northerly point of Sydney If you look carefully you can see a green & white Coot hiding behind Lion Island, they're everywhere those Coots. ;)

Firefly, you're surely "out of this world." But then, there are the rest of us.

Gotta be Lookout Mountain at the foot of Moccasin Bend on the Tennessee River. Coots have been posing for pictures there for 150 years.
