Interested to learn of your router choices to provide WiFi to your boat? Also, do you find value in a cell booster. We are in seattle and cruise San Juan’s upnto canada.

Cradlepoint AER 1600 with add on MIMO modem.

There are less expensive solutions, but there are not better solutions

Regarding a cell booster, you won't need one in the San Juan's and into Canada. We have one and don't need it or use it anymore. We have Verizon but other carriers also have good connectivity.

I use a ubiquiti bullet m2 as a wireless radio to pick up distant wifi. The m2 also performs as a router. I have an ubiquiti edge POE switch to power the radio/router and and a tp link wireless acsess point . I have used the same system for several years in the motorhome and it always works. about 200 bucks if you dont use the poe switch. I also have a t mobile wireless hotspot so the security system and cameras are logged in 24/7.
