Water temp is still 24-26°C, so all in all it will be a very pleasant week.
Nice day on the bay
Look what you have missed out on.
Ours, all ours
Hopefully it'll say ours all week.

Levels start to decrease but are still very high and the flows are wild.
Where my boat is it is surprisingly fine, as the river is wide the high level is of less importance but upstream and downstream it is impressive and there was a lot of damage. There are a lot of junk carried down, yesterday I saw a backyard fence travelling down the flow!
If weather is fine I guess everything will back under control in 2 weeks or so but forecast is for more rain next week so who knows...

Final prep for Summer. A few projects wrapping up, Fishing gear is starting to come out out of the garage, cleaned the hull yesterday, the usual stuff . Water still a bit cool, so I had to wear a full suit.

Last year I built a step so it was easier to get on and off our boat at our home dock. Friday I added a second step to make it easier again. In Oct 2016 we had 58” from our dock down to the water. Today it is 39”.

It's kitchen renovation time at the dirt house. All part of the plan to make it as sellable as possible in 2022.

My first attempt at picking a paint color resulted in walls that induced vomiting and diarrhea in all who were unfortunate enough to be blessed with the gift of sight. Today I try again.

Just home after two weeks in the hospital. Back surgery. Now 4-6 weeks rest.

Go slow, and when you start feeling better, keep going slow!!

I feel for you. I had back surgery December 2017. It wasn’t fun.

We got the old sat tv dome off, discovered that the light up there is busted so we have to order a replacement. New dome will go up when the boat comes back from the detailer. She’s getting a top to bottom very thorough and expensive detailing job. Supposed to take 1.5-2 weeks.
This morning the new interior blinds were installed.
