Just watched the splashdown and the start of the recovery process.

Then I saw a number of small sportsfishermen and other private center consoles milling around the capsule, quite close.

Surely there should have been an exclusion zone around the capsule?

Watching now as the recovery ship backs up to the capsule and there are about forty private boats hanging around the area - looks like only a hundred yards or so away.

They've spent the last twenty minutes purging posionous fumes. Also there were two drogues and four huge parachutes floating around.

You can’t stop idiots from approaching. We were on patrol and came upon a burning boat. People were already off so we were trying to maintain a perimeter since we could see several gas cans aboard and we didn’t know if they were full or not. A couple of boats kept insisting on getting right up to it. We told them several times to get back in case of explosion but they wouldn’t listen. Besides the acrid fumes from burning fiberglass and the possible gas explosion they were not concerned. And they both had small children onboard. More idiots...

The interesting part was that the capsule was automated , no pilots were needed , so the days of astronauts is past.
