President "Edership" 39

I searched for this model and found one on Yachtworld in Italy for $75,004.

Nice looking boat. I personally love the Sedan style trawlers, as this is.

If you can live with Volvo diesels then this might be the boat for you.

Get a thorough survey and do at least a two hour full RPM sea trial.

If you still like it then you might have found your boat.

Good luck.

If my memory is correct, the boat that I saw in Italy on Yachtworld has teak decks.

Does the boat that you are looking at also have teak decks?

Not sure how teak decks are in Italy but here in Florida they are a maintenance, repair and leaking nightmare.

Two things that I would never have on a boat: teak decks and Volvo engines, unless you have unlimited money and do not mind dumping a lot of it into the boat.

Volvo diesels are well built and dependable, but the parts and costs of repairs for them here are just through the roof.

Maybe Italy is better.

Just my point of view. Your mileage may vary.

Good luck.
