were can i buy portholes for my 1979 34ft mainship.

What size do you need? I bought New Found Metals portholes for our boat. Long story short I have 2 5x12s that are listed for $289 on the website. I have no need for them so if you are interested PM me and I will make you a deal on them. The portholes by NFM are really nice and are cast 316 S/S.

New Found Metals makes a fine product. In the past, have seen ports at Defender.com bargain/clearance area.

Defender used to sell them, they still might I haven't looked lately. I bought replacements there for my 1978 several years ago.

Portlight.

PORTHOLE is a general term originally used to describe more or less any opening in the hull such as a gun-port.
DEADLIGHTS are the ‘windows’ which are fixed and non-opening.
PORTLIGHTS can be opened.
DECK-LIGHTS are prisms of rectangular or round shaped glass or acrylic set flush into the deck to give a constant stream of light below deck.

New Found Metals make a nice looking and (by reputation) well made product.

Beckson is another company that makes various ports.

Ours look like pieces of artwork. They are beautiful.

They are indeed nice portlights. I had a total of 8 installed. They are very robust.

I installed 11 of the NFM portholes myself. It was easy except for pushing the butyl in, that was a bugger.
