WifeyB. Yes drugs were involved every year besides pot. A friend that’s an LEO can attest to that, cops are told to not make arrests and to look the other way unless it is outrageous they can’t.
Each to his own but looking at strange naked bodies is not my favorite thing, when I was younger maybe.

Wifey B: We didn't see much in the way of other drugs. Never have in Key West. Perhaps years ago. Yes, I know LEO in Key West tries to look the other way as much as possible. They're not about incarceration. Perhaps others could learn.

Just plain naked bodies not exciting but the body painting is very creative and artistic.

I agree that is true today, I can remember when Columbus Day Regatta and Fantasy Fest (which came years later) had prime bodies (of course there were some old nastiest too).

Wifey B: I find the mixture beautiful. I especially love when much older people are comfortable fully participating and going for full body paint. It's like when an 80 year old couple put on bikini and speedo and wade into the ocean. I remember one couple so vividly and you just knew as they stood with each other, they looked as beautiful to each other as the day they met.

Fantasy Fest was great in my younger drunken days, today it is a gross disgusting bunch of people many high on drugs, raunchy.

I don’t understand this at all. It was OK to be drunk and raunchy when you were young and the one participating, but now that you feel you are too old to join in its now a bad thing? Now that you think you are too old for fun you want to keep everyone else from having any now. I don’t get it at all......

If you want to see the exact opposite of what that statement proclaims head over to Orient Beach on St Maarten. We have vacationed there may times and never get tired of it.

When I lived in Miami, I used to run on the beach and decided to run past Haulover's nude beach one day.

I always referred to it as the Nude Dude beach after that and never ran that way again!

I never hung out at South Beach, though I lived in Sunny Isles Beach for a while. The one time I was there and checked it out, it looked a silicon convention.
