Where are you going? What are the conditions?

For myself Dos Peces left Bandon Oregon at first light this morning.
I am making way for Crecent City California today.

The wind right now is basically zero and the Pacific is about as flat as she ever gets.

I am about 20 NM north of Cape Blanco which is the westernmost cape in the Continental United States.

This is no drama cruising. I only move the boat on nice days, and only cruise during daylight hours. I am just going harbor to harbor making my way down to my new home in Mexico.

Not exactly going great distances, but it’s nice here in gig harbor, had to dodge three cruise ships in Elliot bay to get here.

Headed up the outside of Vancouver Island. Photos from last night - 20 or more orca swam by as we drifted, shut down. Quatsino Sound tomorrow.

Lush green meadows
Bear, elk, seals, eagles

Have not seen anyone since we arrived.

We were cruising in Thunder Bay and went across the EB Allan, a ship that sank in the 1870s. I took a photo of the the screen. You can see the sunken ship below the boat icon.

Spent a few solitary hours enjoying the view.

It was a very poorly maintained boat from Dream Yacht Charters out of Burlington. The only charter available. Great food, drink, sailing, company and anchorages overcame the many short comings of the boat though!
