Nothing better than a pre WWII era tool, at least at that time tools were really built not just manufactured.
Did I said I am a tool addict? Lol

I can relate Lou! Looks like some other fine vintage tools in the background as well.
Hopefully you have a wife as sweet as mine. 20 years ago I bought her a cabinet saw.....she lets me use it as much as I like!

She is just waiting for me to use all these tools to build her the home furniture and boat interior woodwork she dreams about... But like I told her hey I need to sharpen these tools and I cannot do everything at the same time
Believe me she is very very patient with me lol

Perla and I had Valentine's lunch at the Celadon restaurant in downtown Napa (yumm).
https://www.celadonnapa.com/
Restaurant adjacent to the Napa River; observed the river high, running at five knots with flotsam due to heavy rain.

And I'm happy to say that I have seen several of the finished products Eric has done on his wife's saw.
"Quality work" is an understatement.

Thank you Mike. Let me know if I can ever assist you with any wood that needs attention on Beachcomber - you know where to find me.
