Years ago my wife, The Queen, purchased a 1986 Marathon 5th wheel camper along with a 1986 Ford F350 Long bed, crew cab, diesel dually. The rig(s) were in Rochester, NY, about 6hrs from home.
A friend and I drove out to the pickup spot, met the sellers...truck was dead. Not even a "click". Guy went in the garage and came out with a portable jumper...and I thought "No freakin' way that's going to spin a 6.9L diesel."
Well...it sure did. Had plenty of power to turn over the 6.9L and fire it up.
So our trawler at the time, like so many others, had a Lehman 100 in it.
I carried one of those jumper packs, just in case someone goofed up and left the batt switch in the wrong position :)

Not a fair comparison. those bat packs have at least 1000 CCA's

I carry one, for peace of mind with starting, but more importantly as a power source for my devices if I have to abandon ship. It lives in my ditch bag.
