Next month were getting a cnc water jet at our shop and was thinking i could cut out an incredible design, instead of tile grout use something flexible

We had floating tiles with flex gout installed in our dirt home's bathroom remodel and doing fine since 2004. I think if I were doing it in a boat, I'd keep the individual tile size on the smallish side to better hand flexing.

If the tile is mounted on something solid like 3/4" plywood, it shouldn't flex.
My showers are tiled, no issue, and it a wood boat that flexes a lot more than current boats.
