Greetings,
Mr. dude. Ah. Mac eh? Yup. It's an apple thingy. Their people won't speak to our people and darkness ensues. See this?

Thanks for the positive vibes, y’all. I’m still isolated upstairs after my hospital visit (only 8 more days to go!). I do mask up and glove up and cover up any skin, and go outside once or twice a day however to walk around, check on the pool, etc, when I can sneak through the house unnoticed. Usually early in the AM.

I am getting a little bored reading and playing with my new stuffed appendix, so I ordered a new Yamaha full size weighted key keyboard so I can perform for the neighbors on the balcony. It should be here tomorrow. I’m not a very good player so we will see how that goes with the neighbors. [emoji30]

This is the one I got. I’m thinking after this is over I’ll put it on the boat so I can annoy people at various anchorages and marinas.

(This dude can really play!)

Here’s a song I was working on before I got sick, for comparison. [emoji30]

Wifey B: We take a keyboard with us cruising. :)

We bought our adult daughter that exact same keyboard the Christmas before last. She loves it.

The keyboard came in today, and sounds pretty good. The sound doesn’t come through well with my iPhone recording and my playing is rough as hell, but I’m distracted for now so Jewel thinks that’s wonderful. [emoji51]

Cheers everyone! Happy Wednesday!

A rough Canon in D rendition, sort of. [emoji30]

Beethoven will take mucho practice and probably skills I don’t have. But I’ll try. But now, just for you, I present some shitty Commodores.

I’ve had some wine now. [emoji30][emoji120]

Now, I must go practice. You know how to get to Carnegie Hall right? Practice (and don’t try to sing the Commodores).

Yeah, it ain't easy! :D

BTW, there's a story out there that fur elise was written for a young student he fell in love with so was particularly easy so that she could play it. After his love was rejected he made the second half very difficult so she could never play it!

My favorite piece that my daughter plays - she has to play it for me multiple times when she is home on the 93 year old baby grand we have.

A little Fur Elise, fur Paul. [emoji51]

The rest of the song is too damn hard and I’m lazy. [emoji30]

Hah. When I watch her its a bit like that game Twister only using just your hands!

I have always been impressed wuth musicians. It is as their hands are disconnect from the world.
They perform 'casually', never breaking a sweat. In their mind, they may be worried about the next note or cord but, they never show it. Makes me want to swat them to see if they are human. LOL

Hey Dude: Next time in FL, bring your keyboard! I heard that Ted slaps the spoons, Don the Moon-man plays the jugs (although he was never clear on exactly what jugs), Firefly mangles the triangle, Larry Hobo strokes a mean juice harp and I’ll bring out my old Sousaphone. We’ll rock Rachmaninoff till we fog the paint job on Slow Hand!

Great news! The Dude was released from his 2nd floor, family imposed confinement today after his hospital stay for the appendectomy. The Admiral was glad to see him, as were the kids (all of whom have been standing in for Bill in various home chores). Looks like that boring stuff like relaxing in front of the TV and keyboard is over for the Dude.

Ah...looks like they gave you a new shirt, Bill. Nice!

Larry. So your saying the bribe money Jewell paid to the doctors to keep him confined another month didn’t work?

Good job Dude! Your either the luckiest or unluckiest guy I know.

Get well soon!

Hi, we bought a digital piano for my 8 years old daughter to practice on the boat when we are not home, last X’mas having her playing the Turkish march at anchor in front of desert islands in Myanmar was both surreal and fantastic...
