Surveyor recommendation for Vancouver, BC

We are looking for a reliable surveyor in Vancouver , BC, Canada for the purchase of an older Taiwanese trawler. Any recommendations or warnings welcomed!

I used Jan DeGroot, who has been around Taiwanese boats since they began importing them. He has also spent time there supervising builds for clients. I was happy with his survey of my PT38

He wrote an article several years ago on Taiwanese trawlers. He's been around "forever". I used Peter Larkins. Very knowledgeable. But he's a negative "Nellie".
