We realized we weren't at the typical government dock when we found a sign reading, "Moorage 50-cents per foot per night. Pay at the Pub. Rafting is Mandatory. Please put out fenders for rafters now. Do not hide below deck and pretend you do not see them coming. Cool people welcome rafters, and help them drink their wine."

We planned to stay for 1 night, we wound up staying for 3. This is a really special place.

There are some photos and more details at Pacific Nor

Sounds like my kind of place! Closest that I have found to that (but not with the clever sign) was at the Welcome Station on the Dismal Swamp Canal branch of the East Coast ICW. Thanks for sharing.

Sounds like a pretty cool place. I love signs like that. Like the one I found in the men's bathroom at Deception Pass Marina:

"Please do not put cigarette butts in the urinal. They get wet and it makes them very hard to re-light."

Or the marina bathroom, where the doors have signs which say "inboards" and "outboards."
