Happy troller info

Does anyone have experience using a "Happy troller" on their outboard motors? I have a Honda 30 that I am considering getting one and trying it. My goal is to use it so I can run the motor at a higher rpm and get more charging potential out of the motor as well as get the motor to toll at the slower speeds I usually use. My boat is a 15' Klamath we tow as our dingy and use for fishing and crabbing. The charger does not keep up with the draw of two downriggers and the electronics when it runs at the idle speeds I use for trolling. So, was thinking maybe the Happy troller could be the ticket. Adding a trolling motor is not an option for the transom because of the weight capacity an adding a bow mount electric needs the charging of the motor.

Id say bigger deep cycle batteries would be your answer . And if you need to slow down lift your motor higher so the prop is just under water
