SS Master was built in 1922 by Arthur Moscrop on Beach Ave, where the Burrard Bridge stands today in False Creek, Vancouver, BC. Arthur Moscrop built 3 similar boats; RFM about 95 ft., Sea Swell not sure of her length, and the Master at 85 ft.
Believe she was one of the last steam tugs built, fueled with bunker C, B or A. She was never coal fired.
