Hi. I'm considering buying a 26'x10'x30" draft tugboat and need to know what kind of trailer to use. I'm on a budget so used would be better.
I've attached some photos.
Any help is greatly appreciated!

Ken

Here's a photo during refit in 2012
I have a photo but can't figure out how to download it on to this site in this thread.

Given the keel size and shape, you would likely be better looking for a sailboat trailer. There have to be many more small trailerable sailboats than small trailerable trawler tugs with full keels. Given the keel depth, it does not look as though it would be easy to float onto a trailer at a boat ramp unless it has a long trailer neck (so that your car does not enter the water). Might need lifting onto a hydraulic trailer with hull supports. OK if you do not intend to drive it around and only want to move occasionally.

I don't want to be a downer, but you are looking for a pretty big trailer. While some folks trailer boats with 10' beams, it really is not that common.

What is the weight of the boat? You are looking at a double or triple axle trailer. Do you also have an adequate sized tow vehicle?

Do you intend to routinely trailer the boat? If not, and its only at the beginning and the end of the season, perhaps it would make more sense just to have someone haul the boat for you?

When I was looking for a 7.5' wide trailer to side-load my off-road toys (needed a flat surface above the tires), I was surprise how few used trailers were on the market. I ended up just ordering a new trailer. This actually turned out great as I was able to customize the trailer exactly the way I wanted it.

Research Nordic Tug 26 trailers. It appears to be similar sized.

I just want to store it in a storage facility near my house over the winter. Trailer just twice a year.
