Your poll shows 30' to 35', and 36' to 40' . . . what if my last boat was 35 1/2 feet?!? Don't I count? I feel SOOOO disenfranchised . . . . I'm gonna go and sulk now . . .

Just put in the length you tell the transient marina! :)

Per Wellcraft's Dealer Brochure
Model: Coastal 3300
L.O.A.: 38’ 7”
Hull length: 33’ 4”
Documented length: 33.3'

I guess it just depends on who's asking and why. Crazy:facepalm:

68 ft LOA

Monday I'll board my 937-foot LOA, 107,000-ton, professionally-crewed boat for 15 days. :D

Exactly what I did! Chris Craft says it's 38 feet, so it's 38 feet unless someone wants to pull out a tape measure. Although it's 40 for the purposes of paying my home marina, as the slips I fit best in (and that have 50A power) have a 40 ft minimum.

It's an Albin 49' cockpit trawler, so I just call it a 49. We've never really measured it.

Navigator 4800, depending on which article you read 51-52' overall.

My documents say 44 but I had a marina charge me as a 52 once. Won’t go back there.

Wifey B: You do like all guys do, you round up. :)

Mine is a 3870 which measured by DFO certified surveyor for commercial fishing license is 38'. Actual over all length is 45'. But I pay moorage for a 42'. So??? I logged 38' in the questionnaire?

Per Wifey B I only round up when it is to my advantage!

Not that it matters..

43’ 8”

Currently 29 at the longest dimension.

Next will be what seems to be the most common above - 42 to 44

38x12x3. Find it a good size for the two of us. Spent a few weeks in the Bahamas with three on board, very comfortable. With four, tight, if staying more than a day or so. Easy on fuel, easy to maneuver, and pretty fast if you want to go fast.

We have no desire for anything bigger. We have no plans on living aboard. Longest trips so far have been about a month each. Four total to Keys and Bahamas. Lots of one day and two or three day local trips.

American Tug 34 when manufactured. Tomco now calls it a 365. We actually measure 43' with the dinghy on the swim step.
