5 bladed prop

Willy,

It sure looks like it. But no other markings seen yet. The Izusu 65 HP DA-220 will get to 2500 and the boat settles down and goes. GPS speed about 8 kts.

Looks like 20" is the dia. I think that what mine is.
Love those Isuzu's. 220 ... is they the displacement?
Looks also like you're using zinc spray. Pettit Barnacle Buster or Rustoleum Cold Gal? I did too but it didn't work well for me so I went back to putting a thick coating of ArmorAll on the prop. That worked in Alaska but don,nt know about here yet.
You seem you have the same bronze shoe too.

The diameter is usually the first stamped mark the pitch the second.

So this prop is probably 23 diameter 20 pitch.

Here's Red Head's stern and another picture showing one of the sterns fold down features...

Love those Florida Bay Coasters. Great idea that stern platform. :thumb:

My bottom's pretty ordinary, really, but functional, the boat's as well... :D

Re the interest in canoe sterns ...
Griffin. Very nice old wood boat that came to Thorne Bay a number of years ago. She had a small Cat in the stern. I went all through her. Loved the bridge.

I like some of these sterns very much, but to be honest, there's something missing. I can't quite put my finger on it.

Anyway, this is all I've got. Sometimes she gets in the way when boarding from the swimstep.

It's not much but it works for me.

NOT,
Love your swim step on the side. Had many thoughts of that and have always had the C hook step ladder. Was thinking of two C hook ladders and a ventilated swim step board in-between. Kindof a temporary swim step on the side.
Stern looks much the same as mine but showing the much greater displacement. Rudder and prop are deeper. The deadrise is much greater where the guy is painting. The 30 is not far from flat for a bit at the quarter beam line. Your prop looks like mine. Strange blue windows.

Here's my much loved old tub's backside.

Full displacement, hard chine 'sharpie' with Iron Bark planking.

Loaded with far too much stuff lifting the waterline by a couple of inches.

37 tonnes of pure high maintenance joy.

Ahem, best not put your finger on it.

I am a stern man myself...never tire of these views.

This was at my survey haulout to she has her old name.

It was just a snapshot while repairing some old damage under the keel. Not really the proper "stern image" but anyway... here it is... in all its dirt and glory.
