Had to share...gorgeous sunrise

We were finally able to spend the night out on the boat at anchor this past weekend. We had a great time.
Got a good bit of sanding done (yes, I'm still working on that) and a lot of relaxing as well.
We woke up to the most amazing sunrise...hubby snapped a few pictures.
Had to share because it was truly just THAT stunning!

Sailors Warning

Here is a sunrise I took in northern BC Canada. In Ire Inlet. That night the wind blew 50+ knots. Had a bad night at anchor and needed to re-anchor in the middle of the night because the Krogen in front of us was dragging into us. After re-anchoring he stayed off the rocks downwind and we stayed planted up near the river entrance. The third boat (a 40' sailboat never moved) on a big CQR.

I see Star0210 that the clouds in your pic are fuzzy looking. Mine even more so. However being a week ago the warning almost certainly dosn't apply.
Been suspicious of red sunrises ever since. I'm sure that's how the saying originated "Red sunrise in the morning sailors warning".

Gorgeous! I don't get to see many sunrises ( not that much of an early bird since retirement)
Lovely spot too.

I thought those beautiful shots were along that unpronounceable river.

That is one gorgeous photo. Thanks for sharing it with us.

I'm a real bug about sunrise and sunset photos. Here are a couple of my favorites:

My favorite, a sunset shot taken right in front of our home. It's on the Columbia River...

Sunset near Hood River, OR...

Sunset on the Columbia River...

Sunset in front of our place in AZ...

Thanks. I've been up that river, but didn't remember "the T be silent".

Steve: Not that one, but it's a mouthful.
