If I decide to buy a larger boat it would be another American Tug and this would certainly be a candidate. The quality of these boats is extraordinarly and they are so well thought out.

I look forward to your impressions after the launch and sea trial.
It's great to see a boat and builder so well thought of.

It's a long story, but we are 485-02. Just as we finished with a lot of the design criteria a very nice couple from the East Coast bought the first AT485. We have becomes friends during the build of the two boats. Their boat is very different than ours. I am looking forward to seeing them side by side. AT48501 has a black hull, AT48502 has a Cobalt Blue hull.

She got her bottom paint and mast installed today.

Beautiful boat, Shawn. I think it's great that you got to play such a pivotal role in her design and construction. Salish Lady sure sounds better than Puget Girl!

Very cool boat!!

There is something special to have one's boat (semi) custom-built.

She floats

Good morning all:

Well Salish Lady met the water for the first time yesterday. She also powered up and brought herself to the finishing dock. I happen to see the Northern Marine vessel shortly after it "turtled" yesterday and shortly before Salish Lady was to go into the water. It did add to the stress!

Here's a picture. I will add more in a few days.
