I caught this while up in Vancouver.

Just imagine getting woken up by a giant barge knocking at your door.

The yacht that was hit was Kogo which has been floating around up here for about a year.

Could've been a lot worse actually. This was probably the best case scenario.

Two-hundred-and-fifty commercial vessels a month traverse these waters and that number could increase significantly if the expansion of the Trans Mountain pipeline is completed.

Only 8 a day, hardly busy?

The best case is that my boat was in its slip, not in Vancouver. I'd hate to have that happen to anyone's boat.
