Port of Everett Moorage Rates

I just found out the Port of Everett raised moorage rates this past winter. Unfortunately, they did not formally notify any of the slip holders other than a small mention in the news letter. My rates went up over $1200 a year. Anyone else feel this?

I think Everett is just following the market. Our storage in Anacortes went up last fall. Our prior boat was moored in Seattle, rates there were going up 10% a year the last few years we were there. I think there is simple lack of supply.
